Your return-to-game plan
Answer the three questions to see your carryover expectations and the relevant launch change.
Read all documented cases
Start in the released full game
- The demo was disabled because it no longer represents the full game. Do not try to finish new prerequisites in it now.
- Most demo progress does not transfer. Only the two announced exceptions below are confirmed; no manual file-copy, deletion or reset procedure is established.
Completed tutorial: announced carryover
- The developer says tutorial completion carries over, so it should not be mandatory again when the prior completion is recognized.
- This does not establish that Trade was unlocked. Check the separate Trade result below.
Tutorial not completed: no completion to carry over
- Do not expect the completion exception to apply. Begin with the released game's tutorial when it is offered.
- You do not need to return to the disabled demo.
Tutorial completion: check, do not assume
- The exception depends on having completed the demo tutorial. Check what the full game offers.
- If the expected state is missing, use the official help path with your previous demo details; this tool cannot inspect the save.
Trade already unlocked: announced carryover
- The developer says a Trade Mode unlock earned in the demo carries over.
- If Trade is missing despite that earlier unlock, report the mismatch with your prior demo state. No tested individual-save repair is available here.
Trade not previously unlocked
- There is no existing Trade unlock to transfer. Continue in the full game and follow its actual unlock prompts.
- The reviewed sources do not establish an exact new Trade-unlock requirement. Do not infer one from achievement names or replay the closed demo.
Trade unlock: unconfirmed
- Look for Trade in the released game's mode selection. Your tutorial result alone does not prove Trade had been unlocked.
- If your previous state is unclear, keep that uncertainty in a support report rather than resetting progress.
A disabled demo is an intentional launch change
- Use the current full-game store to confirm the product and supported platforms.
- A disabled trial is not evidence that an individual save is corrupt. No bypass or demo-restoration procedure has been verified.
Artifacts must be unlocked again
- The launch FAQ says artifacts do not carry over because their final unlock conditions differ.
- Use the current game's displayed requirements. Old names or icons are not a verified map to new unlocks; this says nothing about an unannounced blueprint reset.
Empty module slots no longer need a completed neighbor
- The old adjacency prerequisite was removed: a module can be built in any empty module slot.
- That does not mean zero cost or a guaranteed fit. Check the actual kit, resources and footprint before committing.
Classic and Endless are separate
- Classic asks you to survive 20 alien waves; it no longer automatically turns into Endless afterward.
- Use the full game's separate mode selection. Exact unlock steps for every mode are not established by the reviewed sources.
When a promised exception is missing
- Compare the tutorial and Trade results above independently. Artifacts and most other demo progress are outside those exceptions.
- Collect the prior demo state, your current mode/unlock screen and the observed mismatch for official help. Do not delete, copy or reset saves based on this tool.
